Savannah @ 8 months: Central Arkansas

Sweet Savannah is growing up! She is already 8 months old. Her mom wanted to get a few shots in her adorable nursery so that's where we did her entire shoot. I love this first shot on her bed with all her stuffed animals. She looks just like a porcelain doll!

Tucker's 9 month session: Central Arkansas

Tucker is growing up so fast! I first met Tucker at his 6 month session. I love watching my clients month after month as they learn to crawl, walk, laugh and smile. :) Tucker has the most adorable smile and he showed it off at our session a few weeks ago. He is a true joy to work with. I am looking forward to his one year session and to his one year birthday party this fall!

Maddox Newborn: North Louisiana

This session is very near and dear to my heart. This family is practically my family. We have been family friends my whole life. So when Amber asked me to take Maddox's newborn pictures, I was overjoyed! We started out taking a few shots with Amber's parents. I love this first shot with Maddox and his Grandmother looking at him with so much love.

and a few of just our little super star

Thank you, Rob and Amber, for letting me come into your home and capture these images of you and your precious son! I can't wait to see him grow up and become a man of God!

Jack at 6 months: Central Arkansas

Jack is 6 months old! I loved shooting this cutie and I immediately fell in love with this little guy's gorgeous brown eyes. I love when clients come back to me so I can see how their family has grown. I first met Jack's mom when I second shot her wedding in 2010. And now Jack is 6 months old and what a handsome fella he is! Six months is a great time to document a baby age. Most babies are crawling and sitting up quite nicely at this point and Jack is no exception. We met at Wildwood Park in Little Rock and surprisingly it wasn't too terribly hot. Check out Jack's pictures and see how much this little man is growing.

This is by far my favorite shot of the day. Oh, those big brown eyes just make me melt!

We switched chairs to this vintage red rocker. I managed to snap one quick one of him in it before he wobbled out it. :) It wasn't quite as roomy as my go to white wicker chair.

I captured a few of Jack and his momma. Even though she wasn't planning on being photographed, I know these will be so special to her.

Sometimes while editing, I like to play around with different actions. I love the contrast of his dark eyes in these black and white images. What do you think?
