Spring Fling!

Robyn & Jacob:: Maternity Session:: San Antonio, Texas

A couple of weeks ago, I found myself in one of my favorite states, Texas. My two best friends live in Texas, as well as several aunts, uncles and plenty of cousins. :) Texas has always held a special place in my heart. When my friend, Robyn, said she wanted me to take her maternity pics, of course, I was honored and booked my flight immediately.

I made plans to go back in February but Mother Nature had plans of her own. The weekend I was scheduled to go to Texas (the first time), the skies dumped about 6 inches of snow on us. My plans were postponed to the last weekend in February which was dangerously close to Robyn's due date... as in ONE WEEK before little Marley was due. Yikes! We kept praying she wouldn't arrive before the maternity pics were taken. Luckily, we finished the pictures and they were a success... Even as I write this, Marley is not here yet, but hopefully she will be here oh so soon! I can't wait to meet her! Love you, Robyn! Thanks for letting me take your pictures! :)

I spent the last week in the great state of Texas. Here are a few pictures I took as I walked around South Commerce Street in Austin one glorious afternoon. Every time I visit Austin, I come back telling my husband we should move there. And once again... I want to move there.
