Brie's bridals: North Arkansas

I was elated when Brie & Matt told me they were getting married.  I was immediately intrigued when they told me of their secret wedding plans. I love a good secret! I don't shoot a lot of weddings since my focus is mainly children and families but I JUMPED at this opportunity to shoot the wedding of Brie & Matt. This was a very special wedding as it was a true wedding elopement and my very first one to be a part of. The only people at the elopement was the bride, groom, the officiant and me, the photographer. It was a true honor to be a part of such a special day. 

I am finishing up their wedding pictures but I couldn't help but share a few of Brie getting ready and her bridal portraits that were actually taken right after the wedding ceremony, hence the huge smile on her face! :)

Evie: 6 months: Central Arkansas

It occurred to me that during my busiest time this Spring that I overlooked blogging about some of my sessions. Silly me! So now that I have a little time to breath, I'm playing catch up. This is Evie who turned 6 months old this Spring. We took most of her pictures in her adorable nursery...and I do love a baby girl in blue. 

Makaylan's 1 year pictures: Northwest Louisiana

This post really needs no introduction. This is my adorable niece, Makaylan Joy, who has been in this world for a little over a year now. She has touched the lives of so many and has made so many smile. Happy one year, MJ! I love you!

Ben & Haley engagement session: Northwest Louisiana

I don't shoot a lot of engagement sessions since I focus in children's photography but I will rarely turn down a couple as fun as these two. :) I've known Haley since high school and she lived down the street from me. Haley met Ben when he was playing with his band in Lake Charles. They now live in Shreveport, La so we shot their engagement session at the perfect spot - Norton Art Gallery. Spring is always gorgeous at Norton. The hydrangeas were perfect this time of year! Ben and Haley brought along their little wiener dog, Priscilla, for a couple of a shots. I wish y'all the happiest marriage, you two! 

They brought along some framed art that is special to them and we incorporated them into a couple of shots. 

Haley and Ben are big fans of Converse shoes so of course we had to pay tribute to their shoes. :)
